\nDear Tal,<\/p>\n

when I first saw your works you stroke a chord with me.<\/p>\n

I knew this, I knew you – but it felt more present. Like what i knew but don\u2018t know, because it seems to happen now. But – I love the old. I am in the old. I like the old. It is about sunset, the golden, the view back from a peak. I hunt the peaks for the views and I recognized the views in your works, I recognized the signs, I recognized you standing on another peak, but next to me. Oh, and my peaks arent about fame and wealth.<\/em><\/p>\n

I then climbed on and entered a cave, covered all over with shady signs of – of what? Is this a reflection, a prophecy, an incantation or even a blessing?<\/p>\n

The old is about systems, the new is about signposts. And I find it all in you.
\nIt is the understanding and it is the adventurous curiosity to find out about it,
\nfind it, see it?,<\/em>
\nit also is about the way to the golden – out of the cave, on and on.<\/p>\n

Beauty, hidden one, invisible, because lying on the street just a few inches beside our next or past step, in its camouflage of commonplace. You see the signs and you turn them into painting – and yet again: Is this a reflection, a prophecy, an incantation or even a blessing?<\/p>\n

There is this one German painter you and I adore, and with whom I have spent some of my few decades. He saw the signs and turned them into painting. Decades later, people ask or define: Is this a reflection, a prophecy, an incantation or even a blessing?<\/p>\n

Probably it is.<\/p>\n

So, please, dont let us talk about the Almanach as explanation, or decryption, because they are no letters, no numbers, it is no riddle or code. No superintellectual-if-you-dont-understand-you-must-be-too-stupid-for-art conceptual test-tube-fertilisations.<\/p>\n

A reflection, a prophecy, an incantation or even a blessing.
\nMaybe.<\/p>\n
